    • St. Louis extended their road point streak to six games (4-0-2), their longest since an equal segment from Nov. 19 - Dec. 17, 2011 (3-0-3). The victory also improved their league-best record in division play to 12-0-1

    • The Blues won their third in-a-row vs. Dallas and their seventh in the last eight games of the series
    • As a team, the Blues blocked a season high 25 shots, led individually by Carlo Colaiacovo's four
    • Kevin Shattenkirk buried the game-winner with just over 10 seconds remaining in the overtime period. It was Shattenkirk's second consecutive game-ender, as he posted the game-deciding shootout goal last night vs. Chicago. Overall, it was his sixth goal this season and third in game-winning fashion, which shares the league lead among defensemen
    • Jaden Schwartz notched his 13th goal of the season, extending his career-best goal streak to five games. Schwartz owns the NHL's longest active goal streak while he joins teammate Alexander Steen, Anaheim's Corey Perry, Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos and San Jose's Patrick Marleau as the only players with goals in at least five consecutive games this season
    • Schwartz added a +1, extending his streak of games with a plus or even rating to 16. His +18 rating overall shares 5th among all forwards
    • T.J. Oshie broke a 16-game goal drought with his fifth of the year, while also adding his 27th assist, moving him into sole possession of 6th among all forwards. Oshie is now just eight assists shy of his career high (35), which he set during the 2011-12 season
    • Vladimir Sobotka logged a pair of assists in his return to the lineup. Sobotka had missed the last six games with an upper-body injury
    • Brian Elliott moved to 9-1-2 overall and 4-1-2 on the road, stopping 28 shots in the game. In addition, he moved to 5-0-1 in December, linking him with Anaheim's Jonas Hiller as the only goaltenders with at least five wins and no regulation losses for the month
    • The Blues visit Minnesota Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center
