(KSDK Sports) -- The Blues got some good news Friday morning following Thursday's loss to the Kings. They will get back their top goal scorer, Alexander Steen. Today the Blues announced Steen would be activated from injured reserve and he will be back in the lineup when the Blues host Anaheim tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center.

Steen, 29, posted a career-high tying 24 goals and 38 points overall in 35 appearances this season, before missing the last 11 games with a concussion. The 6'0, 212-pound forward still shares 5th league-wide in goals, while his six game-winning goals are tied for third most.

Currently in his ninth NHL season and sixth as a Blue, Steen has totaled 341 points including 147 goals and 194 assists to go along with 248 penalty minutes in 572 career games. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native and Swedish international was recently named to Team Sweden for the 2014 Olympics along with teammate Patrik Berglund.
