When Ryan Miller and Jaroslav Halak were traded for each other this month (and Halak was then traded to the Washington Capitals), they made their debuts in white masks.
After all, why wear the colors of your former team when you're trying to lead your new team to a playoff berth and the Stanley Cup?
Neither will wear white anymore because their new masks have arrived.
Here is Miller's:
About as St. Louis as you can get. It features the Gateway Arch, the Blue Note, music notes and a couple guitars. And not just any guitars, as Miller tweets.
This is what Halak will wear, via Russia Machine Never Breaks. Very Washington, with the U.S. Capitol, stars and eagles.
These will be the third masks worn by Miller and Halak this season because both were in the Olympics.
And with both being unrestricted free agents in July, their mask designers might be busy again this summer.
