ST. LOUIS – Many fans were grabbing midnight snacks during Thursday night's triple overtime win for the St. Louis Blues.
While they were filling up on calories, the players were burning them off.
Now, this isn't scientific, but Livestrong says a 200 pound hockey player burns approximately 730 calories per hour, which adds up to more than 1,200 calories for the Blues during Game 1 of the NHL playoffs.
