(KSDK Sports) -- Back in 2006, St. Louis was at the center of the figure skating world, when it played host to the United States Figure Skating Championships. In attendance at that event was a 10 year old future Olympian by the name of Gracie Gold.
The NBC station from Springfield, Missouri, KY3, followed Gracie and her twin sister Carly to St. Louis as they got a chance to watch others realize their Olympic dreams. In the story above, the first young lady you'll hear from is Carly. U.S. Olympian Gracie Gold appears second, wearing the colorful winter hat.
