(KSDK) - The Sochi Winter Olympic games are underway, and we're helping you keep an eye on the ones to watch, medal contenders and record setters.

  • It's a chance to possibly relive the classic "miracle" match-up between the United States and Russia in men's hockey Saturday. The USA is off to a great start with a 7-1 win over Slovakia, but the home team won't be easy to beat on its own soil. Watch live at 6 a.m. on NBC Sports Network.
  • American Julia Mancuso will look toward another medal run in the women's alpine skiing – Super-G. She took the bronze medal in the super combined earlier this week, but she finished eighth in the women's downhill. Mancuso has three world championships in this event. Watch at 7 p.m. on NBC.
  • Speed skater Shani Davis will try to turn a disappointing run into a golden performance. After finishing far behind the group in the 500 meters, he also came in eighth place in the 1,000 meters, which has been remarked as his best event. He'll compete in the men's 1,500 meter event Saturday. Watch at 7 p.m. on NBC.
  • He fell short in the men's 1,500-meter race earlier this week with a fourth place finish, but American J.R. Celski turns his attention toward another medal in the short track – 1,000 meter race. Watch at 7 p.m. on NBC.
