Shawn Porter won a unanimous decision over Devon Alexander on Saturday to take the IBF welterweight belt.

Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Shawn Porter won a unanimous decision over Devon Alexander on Saturday to take the IBF welterweight belt.

Porter (23-0) came out ahead 116-112 on two scorecards and 115-113 on the other to win his first title fight.

Alexander (25-2) was defending the title for the first time after taking it from Randall Bailey on Oct. 20, 2012.

Also at Barclays Center on Saturday night, Paul Malignaggi outpointed Zab Judah for a 12-round unanimous decision win.
