President Obama has a series of meetings Friday, a day after authorizing limited military action in Iraq.

The president is not scheduled to speak publicly, but that could well change.

Obama huddles with national security advisers about his authorization of air strikes against militants in Iraq if they threaten U.S. personnel and facilities based in the province of Irbil.

Obama also signed off on air drops of food and water to religious minorities who are under siege from the militants.

Domestic policy is also on Obama's agenda today. He has meetings scheduled with Labor Secretary Thomas Perez and Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker.

Obama is scheduled to begin his summer vacation Saturday by flying up to Martha's Vineyard, Mass. That schedule could change depending on events in Iraq.
