FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KSDK) – The City of Fairview Heights and Caseyville Township Warming center closed Monday night at 7:20 p.m. Officials say power has been restored to many residents whose lights went dark during the storm, and those who needed the warming center have gone home.

Anyone who needs additional assistance or a warm environment should come to the Fairview Heights Police Department at 10027 Bunkum Road.

Since the beginning of the storm, local officers have responded to 25 well-being requests, transported 15 people to and from their home to the warming center and checked 38 people total into the center.
