ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – No matter whether it's snow, rain, humid and hot or subzero temperatures, St. Louis and the state of Missouri fluctuates in its weather.

But how is that information dispersed and collected is what some inquiring minds of the public want to know.

This week, the Weather and Climate Summit will bring together TV meteorologists and weathercasters with scientists and researchers to provide the latest technology and research to summit attendees. In addition, it will allow for a greater understanding of how each person operates, produces information and gathers research.

NewsChannel 5 Chief Meteorologist Cindy Preszler is attending the Colorado Summit and learning new ways to provide greater and more accurate information throughout the conference.

Before her return, viewers can gain greater understanding of weather and the latest research for themselves with a live stream of the summit below.

For more information, check out the Weather and Climate Summit website.

The conference continues through Friday.
