KSDK - Some of us lost sleep, roughly 6,000 lost power and everyone spent the night huddling against 50 mile per hour arctic winds that blew into town overnight to leave us with morning wind chills between -10 and -25 degrees.
This afternoon temperatures will make the lofty climb into the mid teens but winds, though not as strong as last night, will still be breezy enough to ensure wind chills remain between -5 and -20 degrees and a Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect for areas to our north in Missouri and Illinois through Tuesday morning.
We'll see clear skies today, tonight and tomorrow with winds diminishing after sunset and lows overnight near zero.
Tomorrow look for sun and highs a little warmer. Near 20 degreees! Woo hoo!
