KSDK - The winter that keeps on giving is going to be generous tonight, with all kinds of inclement goodies. That's why a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the area until midnight.

Early to mid-evening, we should expect a mix of freezing rain and sleet mixed with rain. By mid-evening, this should gradually change over to mostly snow and last until around 2 to 3 a.m. We could well end up with 1-2" of snow on top of ice left behind by our combo of freezing rain and sleet, so slippery spots are likely and they may be hidden by our the snow. So…be very careful!

Tomorrow just clouds and cold with a high in the low to mid 20s, some sun and nearly 30 on Monday then, Monday night into Tuesday we'll see another and perhaps even bigger storm.

Mother Nature, we can't thank you enough.
