A storm system moving through the Midwest is bringing rain and freezing rain. Up to one-tenth of an inch of ice this morning. Warmer temps will cause the freezing rain to change to rain by lunch time.
ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The morning commute is behind us and the worst of the weather is moving east but we're done quite yet.
Through mid to late afternoon a mix of freezing drizzle, freezing rain and rain will move out of the metro and through the eastern portion of the NewsChannel 5 viewing area. As this mess moves east it should change over to mostly rain with temperatures rising into the upper 30s where we're getting precipitation and into the 40s behind it.
By late afternoon skies will be clear west of St. Louis and by mid-evening the clouds will have parted for almost all of us.
Tuesday the sun is back and so are warmer temperatures, with highs near 60.
