ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The weather simply could not have been more perfect for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure with clear skies and pleasant, though slightly cool, temperatures.

Great weather continues through the day with clear blue skies and highs in the low 80s and tonight will be lovely with lows in the mid 60s.

Dad's Day may get some rough treatment from Mother Nature, especially in the late afternoon and evening.

We'll start with a mix of clouds and sun and a slight chance for a shower or storm in the morning and it will warm into the mid 80s by early afternoon.

By late afternoon as high near 90 storms should be moving in from the northwest to spend much of the evening with us and there is a slight chance some could be severe with the biggest threat coming from the potential for large hail and damaging winds.

Showers and storms are likely Sunday night into Monday, as well.
