FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Firefighters rescued a man from a truck caught in a flash flood Thursday afternoon in Franklin County.

The incident happened near Calvey Creek Road and Windswept Lane. Calvey Creek overflowed, and trapped a farm-type truck in high water. The driver of the truck could be seen sitting on the window sill on the passenger side.

Firefighters with the Pacific Fire Protection District drove a truck to get to the man and pull him to safety.

Nobody was injured.
