ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Another beautiful May day is already in progress, with highs across the metro area ranging anywhere from 80 to 90 degrees.

A stationary front parallels I-70; along and south of it highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. North of the front, highs will be near to or slightly above 80.

In truth the front is not all that stationary because by tonight it'll drop south, so the highs Tuesday will be in the low to mid 80s. On Wednesday, the front turns into a warm front and races north, leaving us with breezy southwest winds and highs in the upper 80s.

What Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday have in common is sky cover; each day we'll be dry with scattered clouds.

Late Thursday through Mother's Day we have a chance for rain.

Also the trees are having another really nice day, especially mulberry and oak. If you think you might be coming down with a cold, it may be just a little love coming from your big green friend in the front yard.
