ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - By the end of this week, we'll all be talking about how cool it's been; but that's not the topic this morning. A very warm and humid Monday afternoon will set the table for what is likely to be a stormy Monday evening.
Scattered afternoon storms are likely, with highs sliding into the upper 80s, but by early evening a line of strong to severe storms will be arriving in the western portion of the NewsChannel 5 viewing area. There is a slight chance those could be severe storms, the biggest threat coming from damaging winds.
Overnight storms are likely to continue off and on through sunrise, with lows near 60 degrees.
Tuesday showers are likely but it won't be anywhere near as warm with highs in the mid-60s.
