ST. LOUIS - As nice as it's been lately, this summer is indeed behaving strangely. Take Kansas City, for example, which started with a record low today and will end up with highs in the mid-to-upper 90s Monday.
No record lows for us, but it's going to be almost that warm here the next few days. And then we'll get cool again.
Tonight look for party cloudy skies and lows near 70 degrees. On Monday, highs will be in the low 90s with the heat index in the mid-to-upper 90s and Tuesday will be even warmer with highs in the mid-to-upper 90s and the heat index near 100.
By Wednesday, however, another cold front arrives with showers and storms likely.
Thursday and Friday skies clear and it will be cooler than normal again with highs in the low to mid 80s.
