ST. LOUIS - Labor Day weekend still has one more day left but we're likely going to lose a fair share of it because, to Mother Nature, Monday is a work day.

The Isolated storms Sunday evening will go away after sunset but storms are possible again toward sunrise with lows in the mid-70s.onday is a work day.

Monday morning we may see a few showers early but, for the most part, skies should be quiet through midafternoon with highs nearing 90.

Then the changes begin.

Monday afternoon and evening showers and storms should push their way into the region and there is a chance some could be severe with the biggest concern being the potential for large hail and damaging winds.

Late Monday evening into early Tuesday the strongest storms will move across the southern portion on the NewsChannel 5 viewing area ending after 2-3a.m. Tuesday.
