A dry weekend but a wet opening day

Getting to any "Go St. Louis" fitness activity this weekend will be easy, with all weather of consequence gone until Monday. But the thing is…that's no ordinary Monday!!

The Cardinals' Home Opener looks a bit wet.

Tonight and Sunday look cool and dry. Expect a few clouds overnight and lows in the low to mid-30s with a little patchy fog in the valleys.

Sunday there will be a slow increase in the cloud deck, but we'll be just a tad warmer with highs near 60.

Monday, though, it looks like we'll see rain. Showers are likely for most of us and across southern Missouri and southern Illinois storms are possible. The best chance for rain will be in the morning and early afternoon with precipitation becoming more spotty by mid afternoon into evening.

It will be cool, as well Monday, with highs only topping out near 50.

For the home opener against the Reds, look for scattered showers at game time with temperatures starting near 50 and then falling off a few degrees.
