STL city officials discuss winter storm relief

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - City officials urged residents to stay inside, keep off the roads and check on their neighbors Sunday during a news conference aimed at addressing the city's response to a significant winter storm.

More than 170 people utilized homeless shelters Saturday night -- a number that is only expected to increase as wind chills plunge to -35 degrees. The city arranged for buses to transport the overflow of homeless to shelters in St. Louis County.
