Three arrested after firing shots into home near Zoo

An officer in need of aid call was sent out for that location, but police said no officers were injured.

ST. LOUIS – Three people were arrested Wednesday evening after police said they were involved in a shooting into a home just north of the Zoo.

Police said shots were fired into a home on the 5800 block of De Giverville at around 5 p.m. Wednesday. When officers got there, they saw the suspect vehicle leaving the area.

Police followed the car to the intersection of St. Louis and Belt Avenues, where it crashed. The three were taken into custody.

An officer in need of aid call was sent out for that location, but police said no officers were injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
