Poor road conditions possible during Monday rush hour

The evening commute on Monday could get messy around the bi-state over the next few hours as moisture begins to filter in to the region from the north.

Areas along I-70 in Missouri and Illinois are under a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight.

Our far northern counties could pick up 1-2" of snow, while areas south of St. Louis may pick up a dusting by late tonight.

Our next weather maker arrives Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night, and could bring snow along with a wintry mix for parts of Missouri and Illinois.

An additional 1-3" of snow is possible Tuesday evening, with more accumulation north of I-70. A wintry mix is possible well south of St. Louis into early Wednesday morning. Drivers will have to contend with slick roads, especially on untreated spots for the Wednesday morning commute.
