ST. LOUIS — A show set in St. Louis lived up to its livelihood on its latest episode, and 5 On Your Side's Craig Moeller was the recipient.
NBC's hit show "Superstore" aired the shout-out during Thursday's episode. In the scene, manager Glenn is interacting with employee Mrtyle, an elderly store associate. Glenn attempts to set up a marketing tactic with a fictional weatherman, Skipper Sales, but Mrtyle doesn't comply.
"Oh my goodness, isn't that Channel 4 weatherman Skipper Sales in our very store," asked Glenn.
"I don't know, I watch Channel 5 with Craig Moeller," replied Myrtle.
"Oh... okay. I could have sworn you said Channel 4," said Glenn.
Then, meteorologist Sales hops in, saying, "Hey, it's cool. Craig is great. Really good at what he does."
Luckily, Craig took the joke in good faith.
