Anheuser-Busch brings back popular craft dinner series

Each month The Biergarten will feature a different craft brewery

ST. LOUIS — The Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch Brewery is kicking off its first craft dinner series event of the year.

It’ll include exclusive beer pairings from 10 Barrel Brewing Co. which was founded in Bend, Oregon.

Each month The Biergarten will feature a different craft brewery. The March Craft Beer and Food Pairing Dinner will take place on March 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“The Craft Dinner Series was extremely popular last year, so we are excited to bring it back for 2020 to feature new and exclusive craft beers that aren’t easily accessible for St. Louis beer lovers,” said Scott Smith, manager of brewery experiences. 

“For the March craft beer and food pairing dinner, we’re featuring four unique brews from 10 Barrel Brewing Co," Smith said. "Cucumber Crush will be a great option for those looking to learn more about sour beers, while the brand new Spring Seasonal, Snake Run, will appeal to IPA lovers. It’s a great variety, and we’re excited for our guests to explore beers from our craft partners.”

Four-course beer and food pairing menu is as follows:

Tomato-Feta Salad paired with Cucumber Crush (5% ABV) 

Food details: Tomato-feta salad with Lime and mint wedged tomatoes, thin sliced red onion, crumbled feta cheese, and mint leaves lightly tossed in olive oil and fresh lime juice vinaigrette

Beer details: Brewed to appeal to any palate or virgins of the sour craze, this award-winning beer is light, crisp, and refreshing

Gorgonzola and Bacon Dip paired with Profuse Juice (6.5% ABV) 

Food details: Gorgonzola and cream cheese whipped into a smooth texture with crisp bacon bits, toasted walnuts, and scallions. Served with green apple and pear slices

Beer details: A hazy IPA with tropical juicy hop flavors

Grilled Lamb Chop with "No Cook" Orange Chutney paired with Snake Run (8% ABV) 

Food details: Lamb Chops grilled medium-rare topped with a "no cook" orange chutney. Served with blistered Brussels sprouts and oven-roasted garlic and thyme seasoned red potatoes

Beer details: The newly-launched Spring Seasonal. IPA with notes of white grapefruit, mango and passionfruit.

Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake paired with Estonya (12.6% ABV)

Food details: Dark chocolate mousse cake layered with chocolate mousse served with a dollop of fresh whipped cream.

Beer details: A limited availability whiskey barrel-aged Imperial Stout. Part of 10 Barrel Brewing Co.’s Fancy Beer Series.
