UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. — A restaurant in the Delmar Loop has shut its doors permanently.

A note posted on HopCat’s website said its last day of business was March 16. The restaurant opened in July 2018 at 6315 Delmar Boulevard.

“After almost two years serving the great people of St. Louis, we regret to announce that we will be closing HopCat St. Louis on March 16. Trust us that it was an incredibly difficult decision to make and one only done after every other possible option was exhausted.

We couldn’t be more thankful for our hard-working, fun-loving staff who have been the true ingredients of making this restaurant such an awesome place to work at. We are also very thankful and appreciative to all our guests who came through our doors to eat, drink and spend quality time with us.

If you have any questions about your loyalty program, gift cards, employment, events or anything else, feel free to reach out to support@hopcat.com. We are here to help.

Stay healthy and happy, friends.

Love, HopCat”

The restaurant has several other locations across the Midwest.
