ST. LOUIS — Mission Taco Joint is teaming up with Rock Star Taco Shack for a good cause!

The ‘Ricky Ricardo’ taco, a play on a Cuban sandwich, will be available at all six Mission Taco Join locations starting on Sept. 4 through Nov. 4. A portion of proceeds from the sales will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Chef/Co-Owner Jason Tilford of Mission Taco Joint and Chef/Owner Wil Pelly of Rock Star Taco Shack developed the collaboration taco, combining the fun, non-conventional flavors of both taco concepts.

As a sandwich-taco hybrid, grilled Swiss cheese is melted onto Mission Taco Joint’s house-made flour tortillas and topped with Cuban-roasted pork, griddled ham, habanero-agave mustard and pickled tomatillos.

The taco will be sold for $3.75.
