KIRKWOOD, Mo. — A popular bakery in Kirkwood has expanded!

Nathaniel Reid Bakery announced it has renovated an additional 1,000 square feet of production space below the bakery.

The expanded facilities will allow Chef Reid to double the bakery’s output and increase large-format catering and boxed lunch orders.

“Thanks to our community’s support we have had the fortune to see the rapid growth of our bakery over the past three years. We run a very efficient kitchen in a small space, but we want to continue to meet the demands of our guests,” Chef Reid said. “With the new expanded space, our team will have a little more breathing room, and we will be able to fulfill more orders for holiday menus as well as catering and boxed lunches.”

The new space includes: expanded refrigerator capacity, dry storage, as well as production stations for the bread and viennoiserie teams. The expansion allows the bakery to offer more items in their showcases as well as prepare for more holiday orders. The bakery also offers a variety of catering options such as platters of fresh baked breakfast pastries, cookies and brownies, as well as a selection of sandwiches on house made bread. Guests may also order boxed lunches, a build-your-own meal, including your choice of: sandwich or salad; cookie or brownie; and a seasonal piece of fruit. Whole quiche, French macarons, specialty cakes, jams, chocolates and confections may be ordered in advance as well.
