ST. LOUIS — A new sandwich shop is now open inside a popular Dogtown bar.

Nomad opened on Feb. 27.

Mac’s Local Eats was previously inside the bar. It has since moved to Bluewood Brewing on Cherokee Street.

Nomad’s menu includes several burgers, sandwiches and ‘fine eats.’ There’s fried cheesy risotto balls filled with Italian sausage, pastrami poutine, kimchi Brussels sprouts and more.

So far, the response from the community has been amazing, according to a Facebook post. Nomad said it sold out on Sunday.

“We are overwhelmed with all the support and love from everyone. Prepping now to be ready for lunch tomorrow [Monday] 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Thank you STL,” Nomad said on Facebook.

You can find Nomad inside Tamm Avenue Bar at 1227 Tamm Avenue in St. Louis.
