OLIVETTE, Mo. — St. Louis area restaurants are coming together to help support one another amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sunday morning, SugarHi Mobile Kitchen, gave away hundreds of breakfast sandwiches in exchange for donations for restaurant workers.

From 8 to 11 a.m. outside of the Olivette Sugarfire Smoke House, workers gave out 500 breakfast sandwiches. Guests pulled their cars up and employees tossed a sandwich to them!

After the sandwiches were gone - they moved on to giving away quarts of soup to anybody hungry or in need or anyone that wanted to make a donations.

Hi-Pointe Drive-In said it raised $8,000.
