Tenacious D is playing the Stifel Theater on Friday, August 2. The stop will be among several the band will make on their The Post-Apocalypto tour.

The concert series is meant to support the Nov. 18, 2018, release from the band "Tenacious D in Post-Apacalypto", which is an animated film hand-drawn by Jack Black with every character voiced by Black and Kyle Glass. Along with the film, the band also release a companion album.

Their self-titled album was released in the fall of 2001 with Epic Records and was quickly certified at gold-selling status, and has since been certified platinum.
