Melissa Nichols and Tammie Stone are known as 2 Simple Sisters.
“Life is crazy and busy and there's so much going on, we just want to make thing simple for people,” Melissa said.
They started living a cleaner lifestyle three years ago. While trying to limit chemical exposure, they began making their own products. And when opportunity arose to start a business together, they knew exactly what to do.
"We looked at each other we both went, laundry detergent!"
Laundry detergent was just the beginning of their business, 2 Simple Sisters. They now make dozens of other products for your body and home. From hand soap to healing balm.
“When we started, we look back and laugh. We had 8 things and now we have … almost 50 things,” they said.
You can find 2 Simple Sisters in Happy Camper, Blooming Daisy Marketplace, and Elderberry Place.
The hope is to open their own boutique.
