This week is the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, or CES. We have been giving you a peek by showing you the latest high-tech devices that are being unveiled. One of the nation’s top tech journalists, Paul Hochman, joins us live from CES to tell us more.
Paul starts by saying that this year’s CES is huge! There are over 170,000+ attendees with thousands of vendors. At CES you can learn about the immediate future and what else is to come in terms of consumer technology.
There are three products in particular that Paul is excited to share. First, from audio-technica comes the CKT3W, which are wireless, in-ear headphones. They are small and have great sound-quality with up to 6-hours of playback. Second, Honda has teamed up with Skelex to create an external skeleton reduce injuries on the Honda production line. Finally, Mastercard has created an in-phone app where you can scan the card and have the benefits explained to you. This will reduce the mailers you get.
