Clayton Restaurant Week is underway

On Monday, the summer edition of restaurant week kicked off in Clayton. That means some restaurants are lowering their prices all for a good cause.

Clayton Restaurant Week runs until this Sunday, July 22.

There are 17 restaurants participating including the Capital Grille, Cafe Napoli, Copia, Sardella, Pastaria and Herbie's where we stopped by for this video. They are offering a three course meal for 35 dollars. It includes your first course choice of a Mixed Green Salad, French Onion Soup, or Crab Croquettes. For the main entree, you can choose between a Soy Caramel Glazed Salmon, Herbie's Filet or a Vegetable Lasgana. And for dessert, you have two options to stick a fork into. Either their house made Salted Caramel Bread Pudding or a Flourless Chocolate Cake. The best part about Clayton Restaurant Week, it benefits Operation Food Search. All the money raised stays locally and provides food and nutrition education to the hungry in our community.

When paying your Clayton Restaurant Week check, you can add an "Extra Helping" donation. You can check out the $25 or $35 dollar 3 course menu online at 17 participating restaurants at claytonrestaurantweek.com. It ends Sunday.
