St. Louis, MO — Hello Juice and Smoothie is a welcoming new place near The Grove.
Co-owner Kayla Bauer said, "We decided we wanted to embrace community and the term hello is very inviting and we wanted to invite everyone out."
The space is beaming with light and the food is picture perfect.
Jordan Bauer, co-owner said, "In a lot of ways this is just a bigger version of our house. We already have this style and love it and wanted to bring it in and works."
Jordan and Kayla Bauer are the husband and wife team behind Hello Juice and Smoothie.
Jordan said, "We're a ma and pa juice shop and we're going with what feels right."
For them, it's a mix of a beautifully designed space with food and drinks that are almost too pretty to eat. But don't let that stop you from trying a smoothie, smoothie bowl, or seasonal juice pressed fresh in house.
Kayla said, "We love the idea of having an aesthetically pleasing place but wanted to provide that in our food. So we've just got really create in the way we decorate our things."
This couple walks the walk and talks the talk. They live a healthy lifestyle at home and continue their passion for good food at their new business.
Jordan said, "Literally everything ingredient is for a purpose. Good for your body."
Kayla said, "You're holding a lavender smoothie with blueberries, banana, lavender bitttrs, and coconut milk. This here is our fresh pressed juice of the day. Grapefruit, lemon, and zucchini. Our acai bowl has strawberries, bananas, blueberries, spinach, and acai."
Juice is $6, smoothies are $7, and bowls are $9.
Kayla said, "I want people to know that healthy can be affordable because I think that a lot of people dont feel like they cant be healthy because it's expensive. So we try to keep costs down."
