Each year, for more than 20 years, the oldest Dodge dealership in the country has put selling cars on the back burner during the holidays. It’s so the team at Oliver C. Joseph can move in the miniature trains.
“We move a lot of cars out of here and all the employees that know, give or take, that first weekend after Thanksgiving we have to get ready for the model train show, “ explains Brad Joseph, President of Oliver C. Joseph in Belleville, Illinois.
They also have a permanent 80 foot long luxury train car from 1927.
“This is the only dealership in the world known universe with a train car built into,” Oliver Curtis Joseph, points out.
However, it’s only open for tours one day a year.
“How it looks in here is pretty much how it would have looked in 1927,” he adds.
