The Ameren Festival of Lights

Ameren Festival of Lights returns to downtown St. Louis this Saturday. This fun event ushers in the holiday season with entertainment and the lighting of the big Salvation Army Tree of Lights. There will also be a festive fireworks finale and the official opening of Winterfest, the skating rink in partnership with the Gateway Arch Park Foundation. The Ameren Missouri Festival of Lights celebration takes place from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Kiener Plaza.

Santa’s Magical Kingdom

Another holiday staple in St. Louis is Santa's Magical Kingdom. This year, new scenes will fill a half-mile section of the road with custom lighting animation and almost a MILLION MORE LIGHTS. There's also a new 250 degree Tunnel of Lights featuring snowflakes in motion. Santa's Magical Kingdom is the only light display in the country to offer three tunnels of lights.

Santa's Magical Kingdom opens this Friday and will be lighting up the sky through Jan. 6.

The Missouri Botanical Garden's Garden Glow

Garden Glow opens for the season this Saturday. For the last few years, the garden has been transformed into a winter wonderland with more than one million lights. You can enjoy all of them until Jan. 1. Along with the lights, there will be s’mores, festive drinks, and fun photo opps.

Brewery Lights

This Thursday, they're flipping the switch at AB and turning on the Brewery Lights. You'll be able to step into the magic of more than a million twinkling lights and sample special beers. Our very own Abby Samel will be there live on Thursday, to show you what's new, including the new Kids Zone and Brewery Express Train. Brewery Lights is free, but you can upgrade your experience with a variety of new packages, such as the Clydesdale VIP package.

Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park

Presented by Byerly RV, Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park is celebrating its 33rd year. It has more than one million lights and is stunning. The display will be up Nov. 21 through Dec. 30. Make note that it's closed on Christmas Eve, Saturday nights are reserved for carriage rides, and Monday nights are reserved for the Winter Wonderland Walk. Steinberg Ice Rink

Well, lace up your skates because Steinberg Ice Rink in Forest Park is officially open! It's the largest outdoor ice rink in the Midwest and is open every day. There's a big fire pit and a cafe with sandwiches and snacks. Beer and wine are also available to purchase. It is a cash only spot, but there is an ATM.
