New barbeque spot is making Cottleville its ‘home sweet home’

The sandwiches at 1798 BBQ are named after Motley Crue songs.

COTTLEVILLE, Mo. — A new barbeque joint has made Cottleville its 'home sweet home.' This restaurant combines small town history, delicious food, and Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Named after the year the town of Cottleville was founded, 1798 BBQ has a unique style that makes it stand out from the rest. Each sandwich on the menu is named after a Motley Crue song.

Andrew Brewer is the owner, and he says he brought in as much of the past as possible. To decorate his restaurant, he used items and supplies that come straight from the town of Cottleville and have a history there.

1798 BBQ is located at 5210 Highway N in Cottleville, Missouri. Check it out online at 1798BBQ.com and on Facebook and Instagram.

When you make it out to Cottleville, don’t forget to stop by Brewer’s other businesses: Plank Road Pizza and Cottleville Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Shop.
