42 miles southwest of St. Louis just off of 44 is 26 acres of peace and quiet.

"I call it the best kept secret in St. Louis.  There's not a lot of people that know about us,"  says Chris Paxton, manager of Pin Oak Creek RV Park.

He's a guy, however, who knows every inch of the place.

"This goes back to our paintball fields.  We have two paintball fields that the kids absolutely love," he says driving us on a golf cart back to the field.

"There's a nice variety of obstacles and things to hide behind," he points out.

Variety seems to be a theme here.  There's a volleyball net and a basketball goal, horseshoes, shuffleboard, miniature golf and when it warms up a pool and planned activities for the kids.

"We do like arts and crafts, we have karoke, we'll do some live entertainment, sports games, a bicycle parades, this year even I think we have a dog parade coming up."

Of  course when school is in session there's a little more peace and quiet.  It is home away from home for the Rangle's.  A place they can describe with one word.

"Paradise!  This is where we come every weekend to relax," Sandy Rangle says.

By the way, it's also a place you can visit without a RV if you book one of the cabins because we uncovered a little secret about the guy running the place.

"Never camped a day in my life," Paxton admits.

Nope, he just makes sure that people who do camp have everything they need.

"We even have to have wifi in the park so everybody can stay connected."

It's not exactly roughing it.  So roll into a Pin Oak Creek RV Park and discover for yourself that home is where you park it.
