Creve Coeur, MO — You'll find something for everybody at the JCC Used Book Summer Sale. It starts on Sunday and goes through Thursday at the Jewish Community Center Staenberg Family Complex – Arts & Education Building in Creve Coeur.
There are 50 categories to choose from Including mystery, hardcover fiction, cookbooks, children's books, romance, and art books. People who are serious about this sale should arrive by 9 AM on Sunday because that's when they start selling line tickets for $10. Books start at 50 cents. Another popular day is Thursday because they do something called bag day.
Zelda Sparks said, "We give patrons a big bag and we want them to stuff it as big as possible and its all $5. A lot of people come because they can get the most for their money. If they can stand to wait that long. If they want their treasures to be here, they better come a little bit earlier."
