The Wagamama is a store for pet lovers

There's a new shop in the Shaw neighborhood that's not exactly a pet store but a store for pet lovers.

St. Louis, MO — The Wagamama is unique pet store, not just for animals but for humans who love them.

"Wagamama is Japanese for spoiled rotten child which is pretty fitting for our four legged loved ones. We all love to spoil them," she said.

At The Wagamama, you can spoil your animals or spoil yourself.

"The boutique itself is actually i like to call it the animal lovers for the human more so than the pet.

Owner Lynn Terry handpicked dozens of artists to be featured in her shop. All have one thing in common; their love for animals.

"Necklaces, t-shirts, coffee mugs, greeting cards, you name it, all cats and dogs. We'd like to expand as we grow," she said.

Sure the focus is the humans but you'll also find some accessories for your furbabies. She carries everything from fancy fashion to perfume for your pet. But The Wagamama is more than a pet boutique, it's also home to Lynn's photography business, specializing in- you guessed it- pets. Her pet photography business took off ever since she published her book, Tales from the Booth, in 2016.

"That's the premise, dogs in photo booths being goofy," she said.

Whether you come here for photos or to shop, it's a store pleasing those with both two and four legs.
