ST. LOUIS — The Saint Louis Zoo is joining in the Shark Week fun with a special for all animal lovers.
Anyone who comes to the zoo dressed as a shark can get into Stingrays at Caribbean Cove for free. It normally costs $3.95 per person. Anyone over the age of 13 is asked to check out the zoo’s adult costume policy before heading down.
Shark Week is being celebrated July 14-20, 2019.
Guests visiting Stingrays at Caribbean Cove have the chance to touch and feed stingrays. They also can learn about bonnethead, white-spotted and brown-banded bamboo sharks—all of which are native to the Caribbean.
The zoo is hosting other special events to mark Shark Week.
From 12-3 p.m. on July 19 and 20, guests will be treated to live Caribbean music by Mango Jay. Kids will be able to participate in shark-themed games and activities.
From 5-8 p.m. on July 19, the Zydeco Crawdaddys will perform.
