(A Fall Midnight Delight) | Mini Apple TurnOva’s served wit French Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Berries
Mini Apple TurnOva’s
1 qt of Flour
4 oz of Butter
1 tsp of salt
4 tsp of sugar
2 Tbsp of Baking Powder
BUTTERMILK AS MUCH AS NEEDED...
3 peeled , cored and cut apples
4 Tbsp of Brown Sugar
2Tbsp of Butter
2 Tbsp of cinnamon
2 cups of Powdered Sugar
1/2 of Lime Juice
2 tsp of cinnamon
Start by adding flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in mixing bowl, then turn mixer on low. Add butter, turn the mixer to medium, then add enough buttermilk to knead dough. Roll dough out in thin layer and portion into squares and set aside.
In a pan, add butter in med. Heat, then sauté apples and add cinnamon and brown sugar until brown sugar dissolves. Allow to cool, then fill in dough and seal with fork.
Now, you can fry these at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 minutes, or you can bake these at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
ADD POWDERED SUGAR IN A BOWL WITH THEN WISK IN Lime Juice and Cinnamon and top TurnOva’s with Glaze.
