ST. LOUIS — PUMPKIN TORTELLINI PASTA

1 Can Pumpkin Pie Mix

1 Stick Butter

1 TBS Flour

1 QT Half and Half

1 TSP Salt

1 TSP Cinnamon

3 TBS Brown Sugar

1/8 TSP Ground Nutmeg

1 Bag Cooked Cheese Tortellini

1/2 Cup Cooked Green Peas

6 Pieces Crisp Cooked and Chopped Bacon

1 Cup Shredded Asiago Cheese

Parsley for Garnishing

To Make the Sauce:

Melt butter over low heat.

Add flour and cook for 1 minute.

Add pumpkin pie mix and cook for 1 minute.

Add half and half and whisk till mixed together.

Add spices and cook whisking often till sauce is creamy and thick.

Layer dish with cooked cheese tortellini, top with sauce, peas, cheese and bacon. Garnish with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
