A prominent St. Louis foundation is seeking the return of more than $1.5 million from the Priory School, a seventh through 12th grade Catholic institution in Creve Coeur.

Anna Polizzi-Keller, trustee for the Ruth D. and Wylie Todd Charitable Foundation Trust, on Nov. 21 filed suit against Priory and the Abbey of St. Mary and St. Louis, which runs the school, in St. Louis County Circuit Court. The lawsuit contends donations to the school haven't been used for their intended purposes.
