Career Central: One-of-a-kind career conference set for March

The day includes presentations from five speakers, lunch, networking and happy hour.

ST. LOUIS — Job Seekers' Garden Club of St. Louis and Rockit Careers are hosting a day-long event for anyone considering a new career or looking for a job.

Transition to Position Career Conference March 29

There's another Transition to Position Career Conference set for Wednesday, March 29. It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at 1030 Woodcrest Terrace Drive in Creve Coeur, MO., 63141.

It's a chance for job seekers to connect with businesses, recruiters and employers. The day includes presentations from five speakers, lunch and networking. Networking continues during happy hour from 4-6 p.m.

Participating companies include Mutual of Omaha, American Staffing, Holiday Inn, Stivers and Living Well Leadership.

Hazelwood School District to host recruiting fair

Hazelwood School District is looking to fill a wide variety of positions for the 2023-2024 school year.

It's hosting a recruitment fair Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hazelwood West High School gymnasium locatesd at 1 Wildcat Lane, Hazelwood, MO 63042.

Teachers, counselors, librarians and administrators are needed.

Walk-ins will be welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged.

Hazelwood School District serves nearly 17,000 students and is the second-largest district in St. Louis County. Communities in the district include Hazelwood, Black Jack, Spanish Lake, a large section of Florissant, portions of Bridgeton, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Ferguson, and several square miles of unincorporated St. Louis County.

Busch Stadium needs concession workers

Warmer weather is right around the corner, and spring is bringing the chance to work in Baseball Heaven!

The St. Louis Cardinals need to fill a number of part-time and game-day positions at Busch Stadium.

Delaware North Sportservice, the club's concessionaire, will host another hiring event Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 2-6 p.m. at the Delaware North Sportservice Entrance left of gate six at the ballpark.

Concession employees can earn up to $20-30 an hour after tips.

This is an in-person hiring event.
