ARKANSAS (KTHV) - Arkansas Game and Fish posted on social media on Saturday that they had captured an alligator in southeast Arkansas.
According to a post made on the organization's Facebook page, wildlife officers captured a 12-foot-long alligator in the southeastern part of the state. Officials believe that flooding may be to blame.

Several pictures were sent in to THV11 on March 12 of an alligator recovered in Ashley County.
It is unclear at this time whether the gator captured in Ashley County is the same one in the post from Saturday.
Arkansas Game and Fish stated that they safely removed and relocated the alligator in their picture they posted on March 26. These are all of the details that have been released by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
