A break down of what you need to know for the Stanley Cup parade

Downtown is expected to swarmed with about 500,000 people, according to the city's director of special events.

ST. LOUIS — Downtown is expected to swarmed with about 500,000 people, according to the city's director of special events.

For the parade, alcohol and coolers are allowed, but don't bring glass bottles.

"You will see a variety of things. Some cars and floats, some old-time fire trucks, all of which will feature our players, key players in our organization. It's a celebration to our fans and for our fans," the Blues' Chief Revenue Officer tells us.

When you finally make it down to the Arch, make sure you don't bring that alcohol in.

Soft-sided coolers with sealed, non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. They will be selling beer on the Arch grounds, but it's cash only. ATM's will be there.

They will also be selling Blues merchandise on the grounds.

Something else you can't bring in: large bags or backpacks. Those were one of the things that were listed as prohibited.

If you plan to come to the Arch grounds, about six screens will be there, since they are expecting a ton of people. They just want to make sure everyone can see the rally.
