SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A bald eagle that was caught in a fence was rescued in Greene County on Tuesday.

According to the Missouri Department of Conservation, their wildlife damage biologist Josh Wisdom rescued the eagle.

Wisdom freed the eagle and brought it to Dickerson Park Zoo to be examined.

“The eagle was weak, but appeared to have no serious injuries and it’s hoped the bird can be released back into the wild soon,” the Missouri Department of Conservation said.
