Give STL Day raises more than $2.1M for local nonprofits

Once again, St. Louisans have proven their generosity with a successful Give STL Day. Over a 24-hour period on Thursday, nearly $2.135 million was raised for more than 820 local nonprofits. There were 19,536 donations received.

“It was another amazing day! Over the last four years, we’ve watched our region dig deep and give to our nonprofits as part of Give STL Day,” said Amelia Bond, president and CEO of the St. Louis Community Foundation. “This generosity of spirit is one of the elements that makes St. Louis such a wonderful place to call home.”

The local nonprofit to raise the most money was St. Louis ThriVe, which brought in nearly $78,000 with 43 donations.

Other top-earning organizations were Wings of Hope in the human services category with nearly $55,000 raised. In the education category, Saint Louis Priory brought in $52,500. St. Louis Public Radio led the arts and culture category with $8,250 raised.

Since it was founded in 2014, Give STL Day has raised more than $7.5 million for local nonprofits.
